What happens at night? Gaming, drinking, editing, binging Wikipedia, and reminiscing. Well, except editing. While the regular Super Jump Podcast has been delayed a week, the Midjump makes a sneaky return. Welcome to the Midjump After Dark.
Jeff Onan joins Mitchell to talk about Sea of Thieves, the Pokémon anime, and his connection to the Xbox One. Super Jump reminds you to drink responsibly.

Mitchell and James consider the new Rampage movie, Sega's new announcements, Sea of Thieves' new content roadmap, and the exciting God of War. Also, we may accidentally bring up Breath of the Wild once or twice, but that's to be expected considering that it's the only game we know how to talk about.

Twitch is like high school. It's a bit gross, a bit fun, and it's somehow a normal thing to be insulted for wearing glasses or having a butt. Twitch can also be lovely, though. Today, Mitchell sits down with Twitch streamer Altermentality to talk about her thoughts on the platform, how she stays jolly, and what she thinks the next Midjump should be about (it's a really good idea).

Woah, it's been a while since we did a regular one of these, huh? Well wait no more! And speaking of not waiting anymore, Sea of Thieves came out! It... has excellent graphics.
In this episode, we talk about expectations and how they form the narrative of a game's launch life, how better or worse. Join us, won't you?

Mitchell recently joined Hyle Russell (you know, from episode five of the Super Jump Podcast?) on his podcast, The Kongversation. They discussed the recent Super Smash Bros. news from Hyle's perspective: the perspective of someone who doesn't care about many things other than Donkey Kong. Is he excited? Is he nervous? Listen here to find out!
Note: This is an episode of the Kongversation. Barely any editing was done on our end. This means that the humor is a bit more crude than usual and the topics of conversation are a bit more focused on Rare and Donkey Kong-centric ideas. We personally think it's a great episode, but it may be a bit outside the normal listening range of our audience, so listener discretion is advised.

Woah, they go there. Join James and Mitchell as they very uncomfortably voice their political opinions on the issue of video games and gun violence... existing at the same time. The 3D-platformer seems to be back, how does it compare with other genres who haven't been absent for nearly as long. Finally, Mitchell explains what a Hot Topic is for folks who don't have them in their countries (spoiler: they're wack).

The recording of this podcast had more technical difficulties than the Sea of Thieves Beta. Mitchell really tried for you listeners. Honestly, he did. He invited some guests on, had a lovely discussion, served tea, and everything. Unfortunately, Audacity pooped the bed and one of the audio files was rendered unusable, forcing us to abandon ship. Heh, that's a nautical term. Get it? Because Sea of Thieves?
Mitchell's attempted to summarize everything that was talked about in this week's Midjump. Enjoy!
